Chiedza Mufunde

Based in Kigali, Chiedza manages priorities and special projects in the Chairman’s Office and provides business support in the areas of business development and operations, strategy and client relations at SouthBridge Rwanda.
Experience
Chiedza brings skills, training and experience in strategy, research and policy in global development. Prior to joining Southbridge, she worked with various organizations on global education policy and advocacy in Boston and Washington, D.C. including as a strategy and policy analyst at the World Bank/Global Partnership for Education. In 2016 she was the 2016 Winner of the Youth Innovation Fund (sponsored by the World Bank Youth-to-Youth Community) where she was awarded $15,000 to implement a youth entrepreneurship project on leadership and business skills in her hometown of Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.
Chiedza joined Southbridge from the African Leadership University where she worked closely with the CEO and Chairman of Global Advisory Council to advance the strategic priorities of the university focused on training the next generation of African leaders.
She speaks English and Shona fluently, and is learning French.
